The currency of The Democratic Republic of the Congo is the Congolese franc. The different money that they have are the 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 centimes (coins/cents), 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 5000, 10,000, 20,000 francs. This is different from the American 1¢, 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, 50c,  $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 bills. The country's overall economy is not very good, with One American Dollar being worth the same amount as 928.27 Colognese Francs.
