Cote D'Ivoire: Food (continued)

Ivorian cuisine...
There are lots of different types of foods throughout Cote D'Ivoire. It may seem like just a nutrition source, but it can also serve as an important focal point in celebrations. for example, the Yam Festival, which is basically Thanksgiving in Cote D'Ivoire. The Ivorians eat baked yams (a root/tuber/staple) that serves as their turkey. This shows how similar yet different Cote D'Ivoire and America are.
