Comoros- Landmark 1

Moheli Marine Park

One of the many popular places to visit in Comoros is the Moheli Marine Park. It was the first protected area in Comoros, and surrounds nearly half the coastal waters off the island of Moheli. The marine park has clear blue waters and a beautiful coral reef that is home to a large range of different fish. The land area of the park is a series of parallel finger islands on the south side of Moheli. The islands are rocky cliffs covered in thick jungle.

Wildlife in Belgium

Belgium is very diverse place in terms of wild life. It has many different kinds and types of animals. It is home to many mammals including, voles, mice, the European hare, hedgehogs, the water shrew, the pygmy shrew, four kinds of bats, the beluga, the wildcat, stoats, and Roe Dear. Most of these animals have protection programs and are at no risk but some of the whales are vulnerable. All in all the animals are in good shape in Belgium.

French Music

French music is very interesting and diverse. During the 19th and early 20th century, French composers played a huge role in the development of Romantic music. Romantic music was based on nature, and the exploration of unusual and strange sounds. Most of the sounds were based on nature. Edith Piaf was a very accomplished pop singer in the early 20th century. France was also a very important factor in the development of house music. Some big French DJs are David Guetta, and Daft Punk.

Wildlife on the Ivory Coast

The Ivory Coast is a rain forest region giving way for many types of wildlife. The majority of the wildlife consists of primates such as the Diana monkey, the Mona monkey, and the olive colobus. There are also animals such as the even-toed ulungate. Crocodiles, pythons, and chameleon are types of dangerous reptiles and amphibians that reside in the Ivory Coast, making life occasionally difficult for the natives of the country. As of 2002 at least 482 species consisting of only mammals and birds were recorded throughout the country.

Swiss Skiing


Skiing is the most popular sport in Switzerland.  Nearly everyone skis, due to the amount of mountains, and the large amounts of snowfall.  Switzerland has continuously had one of the strongest alpine skiing  teams in the world, because all children grow up skiing ad it comes so naturally to them.

Democratic Republic of the Congo- Economy

The currency of The Democratic Republic of the Congo is the Congolese franc. The different money that they have are the 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 centimes (coins/cents), 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 5000, 10,000, 20,000 francs. This is different from the American 10¢25¢, 50c,  $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 bills. The country's overall economy is not very good, with One American Dollar being worth the same amount as 928.27 Colognese Francs.

Haiti

Haiti's Bassin Zim is a waterfall located 8 kilometers from the city of Hinche. It has many coves and caves. The falls lead into four main coves: Candelabra, Wells, Bassin Zim, and Arc-en-ciel.  Many contain ancient art pieces from the Taino Indians.  The only difficult part of visiting this scenic destination is that the journey downward is very cumbersome.
